Le 14 février 2011, le phénomène météorologique Bingiza, classé en catégorie cyclone tropical intense, a frappé la côte nord-est de Madagascar dans la région de Mananara. Des rafales de vent atteignant 220km/h ainsi que de violents orages balayent la partie nord du pays. De nombreux dégâts sont craints, notamment des inondations.
The 14th of Febuary 2011, a category 2 tropical cyclone hit the north-eastern coast of Madagascar in the region of Mananara. Wind gusts reaching 220km/h and heavy downpours are sweeping across the northern part of the country. A lot of damages are feared, notably flooding.
